Morning has broken....

and my cold is a little better. Maybe wishful thinking, maybe actual.....not sure, but I feel a little better.
I want to respond to Julie's perspective regarding mattresses. I am thankful for them as well, but I have to tell you....sharing a bed with Will is like not experiencing a mattress at all. He totally hogs the bed. More than one time during the night was I either asking him to move over, or moving him over. And he makes these.....noises....when he sleeps. Julie says he is just like me....but couldn't be. I don't make noises in my sleep. And I am totally still. You can't make me believe otherwise.
O.K., maybe a little.
Anyway, we are packing up and heading to Colorado this morning. Dorothy's yellow brick road is calling.

Good morning all,

You guys are up and about early. I am thoroughly enjoying all the postings. I'm sure there are lots of very funny "stuff" that has not yet made it on the typed pages. I'll look forward to either reading those or at least hearing.

Julie, an aside note - next week the Summer Interns will be here. What school does your nephew attend and what is his name please.

Continue on Lanes and keep entertaining us with your wit.

Love ya, Ilene

Good morning to all of you. Since it looks like you left rather early, I'd bet that Jeff is the only one awake right now. It's a good thing he's used to traveling and must not require much sleep.

Julie, you know that I have been updating the church staff site for the web page. It just dawned on me that I didn't have the college that you attended. Send me that information so I can get this to Bobby. He wanted it the 21st but Kancy was gone and I just finished hers yesterday.

Jeff, Bud would love for you to take some pictures of the railroad that is supposed to run through or around the Grand Canyon if possible. It might inspire him to go see it for himself.

Yesterday we brought Nancy's dog, Champ, home with us for a visit. Nancy is Kancy's mom. Champ is a black and white dog and I forgot the kind (some kind of collie) and she is as tall as Annie and I believe a little heavier. It was fun to watch. Then I took Annie over to visit with Nancy for a while last night.

Take care and have fun.
